Being a single mother of two in a country like Lebanon is a constant challenge. I was and still working as a full-time personal assistant but needed to make an extra income to put my daughters into college. I always had a passion for design and calligraphy. My daughters encouraged me to pursue my passion and I started with customized jewelry selling them to relatives, friends and colleagues. Order by order, I found myself having a unique and expressive line of jewelry. That's when my daughters came up with the brand name "UmmNiyati" – My Wish in English.

The first collection of the brand was launched in 2006 at a local handmade artisan shop where it received wide success, and in 2010 UmmNiyati went regional (Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Oman).

The earrings, bracelets, rings, cuffs, necklaces, key chains and headbands have a traditional feel to them yet are modern and trendy. They are available in either pure gold or silver, gold or silver-plated brass and as you'll see in our collection, our pieces can be customized upon request.
