Oluwadamilola Emmanuel Olorungbohun, fondly called ‘Uncle Damilola’ is an International development volunteer, digital skills trainer, and the Lead Consultant at UD Creative Digital Consult - a digital training and digital solutions firm.

He has a deep passion for the development of skills and knowledge among young people. In 2016, while serving as a National Youth Service Corps member, he volunteered as a co-organizer to organize the foremost Maiduguri Business and Leadership Summit (MBLS).

He achieves the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) #4 (Quality Education) and #8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), through Yearn to Learn Foundation - an initiative that creates a platform for improved access to quality education, and skills development, with the aim of eradicating poverty and promoting decent work among young people and women in low-income and underserved communities.

In 2017, through the same initiative, he organized a Spelling Bee for Government Secondary School students which was aired on 2 local TV stations NTA Maiduguri, Borno Radio and Television (BRTV) and 2 local radio stations – Lafia Dole FM and Borno Radio. In the same year, through the support of well-meaning individuals, he donated learning aids and over 200 Longman English Dictionaries to the students of a public school in Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria.

An alumnus of the Young African Leaders Initiative Regional Leadership Centre (YALI RLC) Accra, Ghana, Uncle ‘Damilola is zealous about Servant Leadership and he currently serves in different leadership roles in a number of Youth forums and also in the spiritual sphere. He is an Associate member of the Onshore Offshore oil & Gas Professionals.

Through the Digital States initiative of the National Agency for Information Technology development Agency (NITDA), where he served as a Digital Skills trainer with implementing partner Wootlab Foundation, he was able to equip over 600 participants with the fundamentals of Digital Marketing.

Today, in the Design on Demand (DOD) course, Uncle ‘Damilola teaches participants across the world how to create and sell attractive graphic designs with only their smartphones. So far, the course has helped hundreds of people to be able to create amazing graphics and optimize their smartphone.

His new book 'DIGITAL SKILLS MASTERY: How to learn and earn with digital skills while you sleep' is a fulfilment of his commitment to bridging the digital divide.
