Thank you for following Underground Game, The Culture of Champions. I am sincerely glad you found me!

UG is about finding motivation and success in sports and life through a mix of instruction, insight, and inspiration. My purpose is help people achieve more than they ever believed possible. And, no matter who you are, what you haven’taccomplished, or how big your doubts, it is possible to break through to new heights by going “Underground.”

Just what exactly does “Underground” mean? When we say hip-hop or other media is “underground,” we are really saying it is anti-mainstream. In short, underground cultures think and act differently than everyone else. The way isn't always easy and certainly not popular, but, like that punk rocker, you may just find freedom in being who you were meant to be.

High achievers, or "champions," reach that status through implementing principles that mainstream people do not. If they didn’t, they would be just like everyone else. UG exists to uncover and share these underground principles along with generous helpings of motivation.

Is everyone's definition of a champion the same? Absolutely not, nor are the chosen fields the same. But everyone can achieve excellence in their endeavors, no matter what they are, and create a plan to achieve unbelievable goals. The same principles that lead some people to championship status in athletics are the same ones that create meaningful, inspired, successful lives in academia, entrepreneurship, relationships, or even politics.

So, what are my "championship" credentials? Washington State, Pacific Northwest, and Canadian national champion in the sport of Observed Trials. It may not be as "mainstream" and revered as basketball or football, but no matter what the game, the principles do remain the same.

And, why am I qualified to speak to the topic of success? Believe it or not, my multiple degrees in architecture. What better way to understand a more prosperous future than to "design it." All successful buildings require specialized knowledge, teamwork, and adherence to core design principles. Designing one's future is no different.

My promise is that anyone can find great success by utilizing the underground principles that all other successful people throughout history have used. Let’s take this journey together, my friend.
