Emily Higgins

The name's Emily. I like to think I'm a bit more unique than my name.

I'm journeying into my early twenties. I'm nanny to a sweet toddler, and as a full time student of English literature, I like to spend my time with Austen, Joyce, and Wilde. My boyfriend is nice, too.

I love writing, both critically and creatively. Giving papers at conferences and seeing my work published (even if it's only in the campus literary journal) are some of the best feelings. My dream is to be a stay at home writer/mama.

I am steadfast and unwavering in my faith as an Orthodox Christian. It's always a struggle to do the right thing, to be good, but I try.
