Hey, I’m Maria. I’m the Administrator and Director of Nursing for Unified Pledge Home Health. and currently residing in Boca Raton, FL. I've been practicing as a registered nurse and specialize in Wound and Ostomy Care. I have been recognized with the Gold Standard Certification in Wound and Ostomy and Continence Care.
Before I ventured into the local Home Health Industry, I worked for 3 years as a registered nurse on the medical-surgical floor in West Boca Hospital. I've worked directly with patients and also worked as a charge nurse on the floor.
I also went to Johnson & Wales University in 2005 and attained a Bachelor's Degree in Business & Hospitality Management. This Hospitality & Business background combined with my Nursing Degree, Certifications, and Experience, have all served as an invaluable combination for the training regiment and service model I've implemented for Unified Pledge Home Health.
