University Area Apartments

University Area Apartments is a property management company in Syracuse, New York, that houses over 700 Syracuse University students in 30 different locations. Specializing in offering affordable values for students of Syracuse University, the company rents apartments ranging from one to five bedrooms as well as houses, some with as many as eight bedrooms. All of the properties rented by University Area Apartments are fully furnished and equipped with modern appliances, such as refrigerators and dishwashers. On-site laundry is also provided in the rental cost.

University Area Apartments' staff constantly provides improvements to the physical plant of each property in order to ensure the comfort of tenants. All of University Area Apartments' properties meet or exceed building code requirements. The apartment management team views concerns about safety for all tenants as a top priority. Three members of the team are current or past members of the fire department, including owner Robert Frank, who is the former chief of the Skaneateles, New York, fire department.

Established in 1976, all locations of University Area Apartments' properties are located in neighborhoods that are safe and primarily occupied by students. The company does not own any properties in the fringe neighborhoods surrounding Syracuse University, as these areas are known to have higher crime rates and a low student population. For the convenience and safety of students, all properties have well-lit parking areas and are within walking distance of the main campus of Syracuse University. Most of the properties managed by University Area Apartments are also located on one of the routes run by the campus bus system.
