Unopening was born from a man’s dream of leveraging on the hottest products or services in Singapore. Instead of laying the bait and waiting for the fish to come, he chose to dive into the water with an ocean trawler and a huge net.

Unfortunately, the one sent into the ocean was me, and I decided that if I was going to have to swim, I was going to enjoy myself doing so. From the products to the website name, my boss gave me a generous budget (of $0) and the Creative Freedom to do whatever I wanted. For non-creatives, Creative Freedom means ‘I’m not sure what I want, but I want it by Thursday’.

And so, Unopening was born, where I write listicles about all the online products I don’t get to test.
