Patrick L. Brooks was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and has worked as a mental health counselor for nearly two decades, helping adolescents/adults with behavior problems and psychotic issues. He and his wife, Charlene, have a twenty three-year-old son and a eleven-year-old goddaughter. Unresolved Issues is a series of books he's written with each having it's own metaphor. Brooks has written three novels but has two more books underway and a television series in the works.
