My name is Umesh M Nair and I am graduated Diploma Fire and Safety Engineering from the IIAIET Institute of Engineering in 2004 and started my professional career the following year, in an Indian company, which operations in the engineering sector.

Since 2006 my career shifted in UAE has focused on the manufacturing industry. At the beginning my job was related to manufacturing processes, but as time went on I got involved directly with other areas such as Quality Management, Environment-Health & Safety, Strategic Planning and Human Resources.

I´ve joined both in multinational companies and national companies as Industrial Safety & Quality Officer, Marine safety Officer & surveyor and Marine Safety Engineer. Currently, I am the Safety Engineer & marine chemist at Vigil Group, which is in Sharjah, UAE.

I have solid knowledge in personnel management and currently I´m studying psychoanalysis, because I believe that people's participation is key to building a sustainable and healthy organization. People need to be understood and trained to assume this role.

Systemic vision, hands on, planning, organization, analytical skills and ability to establish relationships on all levels are characteristics that I´ve developed along my life and these features have helped me to reach my goals.
