I have studied in 5 different schools over a span of 12 years which not only gave me the opportunity to make many friends but also inculcated in me the quality of adaptability. The 3 value drivers in my life that I have strongly adhered to are hard work, persistence and respect for self as well as for others.
The strongest influencer in my life who has taught me to follow my instinct has been my mother, the best manager in the world. She decided to give up her job at the peak of her career to raise her kids as good individuals. What’s exciting is that she decided to study again at the age of 45 so that she could restart her career.
Marketing is my passion – it drives me to create and be unique. My interest in marketing dates to my undergraduate days as an engineering student. During my 2nd year at college, I independently pitched a collegiate engineering event to sponsors. The passion that I developed for marketing led me to enroll in Symbiosis Institute of Business Management in India, where I earned an MBA in Marketing. At SIBM, I co-founded the marketing club in my college to further fuel my new found love in marketing and to deep dive into the function. I started my career with Castrol India Limited, a subsidiary of British Petroleum. My commitment to excellence in every project I have taken up has brought me all-round recognition

The favorite part of my work is when I solve challenges that have not been encountered before. I enjoy working out of my comfort zone and have volunteered to take up challenging projects from my first day of job. I have enjoyed challenging assumptions and finding alternative ways of accomplishing my objectives, blazing a trail for people to follow. I strongly feel that these strengths will help me differentiate my work and take my work to new heights.

I started to think differently when I read Mayada, Daughter of Iraq, written by Jean Sasson and Daughters of Shame, a book by Jasvinder Sanghera, an inspiring account of the lives of women in the world. These real life stories gave me a sneak peek into the lives of young women, their trials and tribulations, their aspirations and most importantly their determination to fight for their dreams despite the obstacles in the journey. These women have taught me to fight for my dreams with passion, enthusiasm and determination. This in turn has taught me to equip myself better in dealing with these numerous challenges in my job.from stakeholders.
