I am Uramah David, a Radiography graduate, entrepreneur, and tech innovator passionate about building digital solutions that connect people, drive growth, and create opportunities within communities. Over the years, I have evolved from being a media founder on campus to leading startups that combine social interaction, commerce, and innovation to solve everyday problems.

My Journey

My journey began with a deep curiosity about how technology can be used to solve real human problems. While studying Radiography, I discovered my passion for entrepreneurship and community impact, two forces that have shaped every venture I’ve built since then.

I started Uramah Media, a campus-based media company that gave students a voice and created opportunities for storytelling and business visibility. That experience introduced me to the power of branding, communication, and digital platforms.

From there, I founded UNN Market, a social marketplace built exclusively for students of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) and UNEC. The idea was simple but powerful — to help students buy, sell, and offer services within their campus community using a platform that felt like Twitter but functioned like a social market. I designed the entire marketing and business strategy — from campus outreach and trade fairs to influencer collaborations and ambassador programs. UNN Market quickly grew into a recognized brand on campus.

Over time, I realized the concept had potential beyond a single university. That realization led to the birth of my latest venture, Zeefas — a secure social e-commerce platform designed for everyone, not just students. Zeefas is built around a simple idea: social connection meets commerce. It allows people to buy, sell, and offer services in a connected, interactive way, while ensuring trust, community, and accessibility.

Today, I serve as the Co-founder and CEO of Zeefas, where I lead the mission to create one of Africa’s first truly social e-commerce platforms — one that combines the energy of social media with the practicality of marketplaces.

My Skills and Expertise

Over the years, I’ve developed a strong foundation in several areas:

• Business Strategy & Startup Development: I understand how to take an idea from concept to product and scale it with structure and direction.
• Marketing & Brand Building: From grassroots campaigns to digital branding, I know how to create visibility and engagement for a new venture.
• Grant & Proposal Writing: I’ve written professional grant proposals and business plans for NGOs, startups, and social enterprises across different sectors, including agriculture, technology, and community development.
• Leadership & Team Building: My ventures have taught me how to assemble teams, motivate people, and lead with vision and accountability.
• Technology & Product Vision: I’m deeply interested in digital products, user experience, and platform-based solutions that combine social value with profitability.

My Vision

I’m passionate about building platforms that connect people and empower communities. Every project I’ve worked on — from Uramah Media to UNN Market, ErrandBoyy, and now Zeefas — has revolved around solving one key problem: how to make human interaction and access to services easier through technology.

My long-term goal is to position Zeefas as a leading African tech brand that bridges the gap between buyers, sellers, and service providers while maintaining a human, social touch. I believe that the next wave of African innovation will come from platforms that prioritize community and trust as much as they do technology and growth.

My Background

I hold a degree in Radiography, a field that trained me to be analytical, detail-oriented, and disciplined, traits that have deeply influenced how I approach business and innovation. While my background is in healthcare, my true calling lies in entrepreneurship, problem-solving, and technology.
