Urban Retreat was started over 7 years ago with a love for furniture design and wishful catalog shopping. After visiting a "warehouse" store on the West Coast, I learned that there was a way for me to get the popular retail look I desired at an incredible price. Hence, Urban Retreat was born!

I decided to combine my love of shopping with my love of furniture by bringing a unique concept of lo-markup, quality furniture to the Washington DC Metro area.

Urban Retreat is a low-key "anti-retail" warehouse…no fancy showroom or snooty salesperson. We offer custom upholstery and solid wood furnishings to our customers; along with some pretty chic accessories to help decorate your house into a home.
