Anthony White

Anthony White is a Mental Health Professional and a Freelance Journalist, by trade. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications (Journalism emphasis) and a Bachelor's degree in Psycholgy from Pfeiffer University. He was News Editor of the university newspaper for two years and served as Communications intern for a year and a half. In addition to the newspaper, he has been published in the alumni magazine, and various online websites.

After graduation in 2008, Anthony joined the workforce, working for a group home for adults with developmental disabiites in his hometown of Gastonia, North Carolina. He worked there for one year and felt that he needed to venture out in order to see what the world had to offer, but more importantly what he had to offer the world. Conflicted over a location, he chose Georgia because it was a new state for him, but still close in proximity to his family and friends.

Still working in the mental health field full time, Anthony blogs and writes for online sites in his leisure time. He looks forward to making a name for himself in the field of Journalism and also landing a full time media position.

He often calls himself a "rockstar" because he embodies many of the characteristics. He feels that rockstars strive to be the best at what they do and live their lives by their own rules. Be the best you that you can be and don't fret over what others think or say. He altered the spelling to show his individuality and he became "the urban ROxTAR".
