Matthew S. Urdan has a long and varied work history matched only by the zeal and passion he has displayed in pursuing his travel, recreational and volunteer interests. And yet, his work history and interests dovetail with the travel, recreational and volunteer interests that have shaped his life and career.
Matthew has worked in or for his grandfather’s drugstore, the West Bloomfield Public Library, a movie megaplex, an environmental consulting firm, an information management firm, a whitewater rafting company, the International Whitewater Hall of Fame and numerous restaurants as well as successfully coaching high school debate and forensics and volunteering at the local, state, national and international levels with the Sierra Club. Originally from the Detroit area, Matthew now resides in Sevierville, TN.
Matthew's business interests are in Corporate Social Responsibility, Ethics, Business Sustainability and Environmental Stewardship. He believes that a purpose-driven mission can yield synergistic benefits in Corporate Profitability, Reputation Management and Public Relations and serve as a catalyst for transforming any company's culture into one that is oriented for long-term success while being respected and held in high-esteem by the public.
