Urooj Raza

Urooj Raza is a renowned multimedia journalist from Pakistan with experience at the country's biggest TV channels,FM Radios and newspapers. Currently she is anchorperson of a current affairs show at Roze TV.She was working as a producer news & current affairs,senior correspondent and Senior Content Researcher for the Capital TV, Islamabad.
She has worked as a reporter with the News One TV, a popular News Channel in Pakistan. Before that, she worked as a special correspondent news and national affairs reporter for the said TV.
Urooj Raza went for training on inter-cultural reporting at Deutsche welle,Bonn,Germany.On her excellent performances she was offered a fellowship which she completed in media reporting and production Studies, audio editing software, newsroom management system, the content management system for internet page, reporting & coverage of many internal events. She was declared the best reporter during the said fellowship.

She has worked and produced content for many Pakistani news outlets, including the Pakistan Today, the Journalism Pakistan, The Diplomat and Pakistan Wide Magazines.

She is a freelanced host and compere who did many media development works for the Diplomat offices and NGOs of Social affairs and Human Rights.
She is a poetess as well and had written two books of Urdu poetry.
Her interests include print, documentary and online media about war against terror,diplomatic affair, health care, humanitarian issues, foreign policy, youth activism, women's rights and gender.
