David Urovsky

David Urovsky's Educational and Business Accomplishments

After earning his Bachelor of Arts in Communications in 1994, David was awarded a Masters of Business Administration Marketing. Combined with this education and creative talent, David began his career in the toy industry, naming his first venture "Urovsky Toys." The company is based in New York City and, throughout the years, has flourished into a highly-successful small business with an emphasis on innovative toys for children.

David creates these beloved toys while keeping in mind that many children consider certain toys as comfort aids in times of sadness or insecurity. David refers to these toys as "loveys." Parents have also expressed delight in these specialty toys knowing that their children have a sense of companionship when they have the toys with them.

In addition to becoming a successful entrepreneur, David is currently involved in several non-profit and charitable organizations. The New Victory Theater, which opened in 1995 and is the only theater in New York geared towards children only, is one organization David strongly supports. He is currently attends the theater's performances whenever possible.

In addition, David is an advocate of the Brooklyn Academy of Music, which is the oldest performing arts center in the United States. He encourages people everywhere to become involved with volunteer work and believes that, by doing so, it would help them to get started in their small business ventures.
