Urs Meisterhans

Urs Meisterhans is an experienced banker from Switzerland. He currently serves as the CEO and President of Summus Solutions NV and Strategic Advisor to IonoTerra.

Urs was born in Zurich, Switzerland on November 10, 1960. He attended Union Bank of Switzerland (now UBS) where he graduated with a federal diploma in banking.

He went on to continue his education at the Swiss Banking School (now Swiss Finance Institute) all while he worked at Nordfinanz Zurich.

By 1982, he moved to New York City to work as a trainee in corporate finance at Nordic American Banking Corporation.

Upon graduation, he returned to Zurich and landed a senior position at Nordfinanz Bank Zurich from 1983 to 1992 as AVP Group Head of Corporate Finance and Credits.

Urs Meisterhans went on to serve as an advisor to the Suisse-Romande branch of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and has been a member of the Advisory Board of Overseas Reinsurance Agents AG since 2005.
