Christopher Sims

Christopher D. Sims is a Unitarian Universalist who has been writing and reciting poetry for most of his life. A member of the Unitarian Universalist Church, Rockford, IL and a new member of the Unitarian Universalist Association's Nominating Committee, he has been on the circuit since 2004.

With poetry that speaks to social justice issues, causes, and women, Christopher has a ministry that is being used to help Unitarian Universalism be at its best. Christopher is a specialist in Soulful Sundown Worship services, open mics, poetry readings, and he collaborates with Unitarian Universalist Ministers in their ministries.

Christopher is widely known for this spoken word rendition entitled "I Am The U.U.A."
