VAA served as the primary design consultant for the development of a new state-of-the-art poultry feed mill, utilizing advanced 3D modeling technology to optimize facility layout, coordination, and overall dha dust hazard analysis design. The completed facility is capable of producing more than 15,000 tons of pelleted feed per week, significantly enhancing production capacity and operational efficiency.

Working in partnership with Vigen Construction and the client, VAA provided comprehensive design services, including 3D modeling, civil engineering, structural engineering, plumbing, HVAC design, and code compliance review. The new facility was constructed to replace the nfpa 652 dust hazard analysis existing on-site feed mill and support the client’s long-term growth and production objectives.

Key project components included a soft stock truck receiving system, steel grinding system, ingredient mill, feed loadout towers, and a 17,400-square-foot ancillary building housing liquid storage systems, boilers, and maintenance facilities. Throughout the design process, VAA focused on creating a safe, efficient, and maintainable operation.

Safety enhancements included locating all bucket elevator legs outside the primary processing areas and incorporating pressure-relief venting in designated locations to reduce operational risks. The facility was also designed dust hazard analysis nfpa to improve housekeeping and maintenance by minimizing dust accumulation through the use of tube steel structural framing within the mill and loadout towers. Adequate space and access were incorporated around major equipment to facilitate routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspections.

The result is a high-capacity, modern feed manufacturing facility that combines production efficiency, worker safety, and long-term operational reliability while positioning the client for continued growth in the poultry industry.

Construction, VAA delivered structural engineering and architectural design services that supported the facility’s large-scale production goals while emphasizing operational efficiency, safety, and long-term reliability.

A key dust hazard analysis requirements feature of the project was the design of a slipform concrete tower that was successfully constructed in just seven days. VAA’s scope also included the design of foundations, structural steel floors, equipment support systems, and two 12-ton lorries that facilitate efficient material handling throughout the facility.

The completed plant is capable of loading up to 125 trucks per day, providing the throughput required to serve a rapidly expanding customer network. Safety and operational convenience were integrated into the design nfpa dust hazard analysis through loadout features that allow drivers to remain inside their vehicles during loading operations, reducing exposure to hazards and improving overall site efficiency.

The result is a modern, large-scale feed manufacturing facility that delivers exceptional production capacity, streamlined logistics, and enhanced safety while positioning the client for continued growth and success in the feed industry.
