VAHIK SATOORIAN, CPA

I have a son who is currently a student, and a daughter who is a teacher in GUSD. I am very invested in all aspects of education. Due to my professional background. being a C.P.A for 29 years, I will focus on solving the budget challenges by working with teachers, staff, parents and community leaders to bring about solutions.

I have been a Board Member of Glendale Educational Foundations of GUSD and GEF Summer School, Inc of GUSD. I am currently a member of the Measure "S", Superintendents Facility Advisory Committee of GUSD.

I am the President of D&M Educational Foundation, a non-profit organization providing after school educational services in 16 elementary schools in Glendale. I am believer of providing safe environment for our students. I will work on modernizing our campuses to ensure students have access and are taught the latest technology to prepare them for future jobs and careers.

We must also give our teachers the resources, tools and support to educate our students with the highest standards by improving the channels of communication between teachers, parents and at all levels if the school district.
