I belong to that fraternity of people who can't sell themselves. My work speaks for me, hence listing down top 8 highlights of my life so far to help you know me a little better:

1. As a part of the digital marketing team of South Asia- Marriott International, I spend 50% of my work time helping hotels on South India and Sri Lanka enhance their digital persona, drive business through the hotel website and OTAs at a higher ADR, be the pioneers at social media marketing and most importantly, help and influence each other to grow Marriott's market share in the region.

2. Being a part of the South Asia Area team, the other half of my time is spent working with some fabulous minds from PR, Alliances, Digital marketing, Social Media and Branding teams to create targeted campaigns to support 120 + hotels and 16 brands in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan & Bangladesh.

3. My last profile was with the same team but in the capacity of the offline Marketing Manager where I worked on ROI focused campaigns for select brands (Westin, Fairfield By Marriott & JW Marriott), Toh Aaj Khaane Main Kya hai (360° campaigns for all South Asia restaurants & bars) and Shaadi by Marriott (wedding IP of Marriott in the region).

4. I started my journey with Marriott International with its first JW Marriott resort, JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa as the Marketing Manager where I handled end to end marketing portfolio of the resort to establish it as one of the most desired luxury resorts of India.

5. The Hotelier India fraternity was kind enough to name me as the 'Marketing Manager of the Year' 2017 in the Luxury to Upper Upscale category of hotels and resorts In India.

6. I am a people's person and believe that the people you work with is as important as the portfolio your are managing.

7. My professional journey has been influenced by many leaders but my current team and head of the department need special mention for leading me where I am today.

8. In my personal space & time you will find me with books around my plants dreaming about relocating to the hills with my husband.
