Vaisakhi Mishra

I am a technology enthusiast currently working as a Business Technology Analyst in Deloitte USI Mumbai with a B. Tech. from S.N.D.T University Mumbai in Electronics and Communication. Since high school I have wanted to have an impactful role in a technology domain but working in Deloitte gave me a chance to grow in technology with a business outlook. I aspire to contribute to the community by creating jobs in future and propagating technology for society.

In my spare time, I travel as much as I can, often alone. People, culture and heritage have always fascinated me and this interest of mine made me a blogger. In the span of three years I established myself as a recognized female travel blogger and have worked with various tourism boards. My most significant blogging moment so far was through Malaysia Tourism, who invited me to cover Malaysia’s Merdeka aka Malaysia's Independence Day celebration as a media delegate, giving me a chance at understanding the diversity and technology advancements of another country other than India. I wish to inculcate the sense of freedom and zeal to explore in women and inspire them to travel independently. Apart from travel, I also write poems and short stories and have been published in two anthologies.

I wish to make some impact in the society every day, and influence community in a positive way. My work experience and blogging world have given me ample opportunities to associate with many NGOs and have made me determined about growing in a direction to help community through technology in digital world. I love to work with diverse group of people with various interests and expertise but who share a desire to make something that people need and cherish, and ultimately wish to contribute to this culturally rich world of ours in very positive significant ways.
