My biggest hobby is preserving the history's and legacies of those who fought in WW2. My grandfather was part of an elite unit of men created with the sole purpose of invading Norway to deal with the occupying Germans. This group was the 99th Infantry Battalion (Separate). One had to be able to read, write and speak Norwegian to be considered for this unit. In 1942 Grandpa Harry was selected by the Offices of Strategic Services and served in the China, Burma and Indian theater under General William "Wild Bill" Donovan and worked alongside chef Julia Child. I serve as Board Member of the the 99th Infantry Battalion (Separate) Educational Foundation and love spending time educating about The Greatest Generation.
