Valeria Andrade

Hi all! I was born and raised in Lima Peru and I am currently a Junior at The University of Pennsylvania pursuing an Economics degree with a minor in Consumer Psychology. I have always been very interested in these two fields, along with business.

Having a blend of European and Latin cultures in my family and attending an international school since I was three made me extremely passionate about learning new languages and cultures. I am now a polyglot and have been lucky to have visited almost every continent in the world. I love traveling anywhere, from beaches to glaciars to historical cities, and meeting new people from different places around the world.

I must admit that my most sincere passion is eating. I enjoy everything that is food-related, especially if it involves anything exotic, sushi, or Nutella. I love to try new restaurants and learning to cook various types of foods. Thanks to this, I find myself in need of constant exercise to stay healthy. This is how I discovered some of my other main hobbies: swimming, dancing, boxing and running.

Overall, and besides all of the above, living away from home has made me see life differently and what I now appreciate the most and find extreme joy in are simple activities such as spending time with my family and friends.
