Valencia Rainey

As the current Senior Trial Attorney for Gebhardt & Associates, LLP, Valencia Rainey has consistently demonstrated her legal leadership and knowledge. In addition to representing clients in all aspects of labor and employment litigation, Valencia Rainey supervises attorneys and advises them on trategy and best practices. She also assists with law form administration.

Before accepting her current position at Gebhardt & Associates, LLP, Valencia Rainey spent an impressive career working as a trial attorney, litigation attorney, and attorney advisor. Valencia Rainey has also served in the Office of the Federal Public Defender in Washington, D.C. In this role, she represented defendants accused of criminal offenses in the United States District Court.

Throughout Valencia Rainey’s career, she has earned many honors. Most recently, she was selected for inclusion in Who's Who in Black Washington, D.C. Additionally, she was part of the inaugural class of the American Arbitration Association’s A. Leon Higginbotham, Jr. Fellows Program in May 2009. She has also been recognized by the Administrative Office of the United States Courts with the Exemplary Service Award, which acknowledged her assistance in developing materials for the Judicial Conference of the United States.
