Valentin Ciocan

Dear Madame and Sir,

first of all: Thank you very much for visiting this website about my person. I created this site to give you a first impression about myself.

My Name is Valentin Ciocan and currently I am a key account manager at Lufthansa Technik in Hamburg/Germany. Prior to this position, I used to work as an international key account management trainee at Jungheinrich AG and as a sales consultant for Coca-Cola European partners where I was responsible for the whole inner-city of the city Aachen. My customer portfolio lied in the area of the "away-from-home-market" ranging from HoReCa customers to petrol stations, convenience stores, cinemas etc.

I am an International Business Student graduate (Bsc, 2014, Msc 2016, Msc 2016) at Maastricht University/Netherlands and Universidade Nova de Lisboa/Portugal. During my period at Maastricht University, I participated at the master honours programme "PREMIUM". Within this programme, I was assigned to a group where we developed a strategy for the School of Business and Economics in Maastricht on how to enhance the attractiveness on the region (Euregio) by collaborating with nearby universities as well as nearby cities.

I am 31 years "young"and I am born in Bucharest/Romania. I grew up in Cologne/Germany where I also finished my high school diploma/Abitur with a gap year that I used to study at an English School (Felsted School). 2014 I graduate in the field of International Business with a major in strategy at "Maastricht University" in the Netherlands. From September 2013 until January 2014 I visited the "Corvinus University" in Budapest in Hungary where I finished my exchange semester.

My hobbies are rugby, scuba diving, skiing, tennis, golf, cooking and photography. As a result, travelling comes hand in hand with most of my hobbies. On the rugby aspect, I have a few station and milestones to mention. One of those is playing in the 1st Hungarian Rugby Division while living in Budapest. Back in Maastricht, I was appointed to be the president of the student rugby team "M.S.R.G de Maraboes" for the academic year 2012/13. In the summer of 2008 I decided to make a living out of my hobbies skiing and scuba diving which is why I took all the required tests and exams and became a PADI Divemaster in the summer and a skiing instructor in the winter.
