Education plays a fairly big role in a person's life, it teaches them a lot about the real world while also allowing them to fail if they need to get the hang of it. It helps people grow up and already have some knowledge of what the real world is like, it helps people be less scared to go out there and be the best version of themselves. Personally, education as a whole has helped me prepare to take on life after high school. It’s helped me get out of my comfort zone, know what to expect, helped me overcome my fear of making mistakes and many more things. In my freshman year of high school, I was extremely shy and could barely talk to anyone unless they talked to me first. It hindered me from doing a lot of things that I had to do or wanted to do. Over the years because of my teachers and all the work we do in class I’ve been able to slowly, but surely, get over all those fears that I came in with as a freshman. I think that I'm pretty prepared for life after high school thanks to all of the work and things that we do in school. All of those things have helped make sure I'm confident in me and have the skills necessary to go on after high school.
