In advertising there is an exercise taught tous, creating an I AM statement, not about a product for once but about us. so here it is:

I AM someone who can not be defined by just one or two words. There are many things that constitute who I am, adaptability being one of them.

It is difficult to caracterize myself as just one person because I feel I can be so many different people in one. Having two distinct cultures that are so different, being curious and wanting to know everything about the world and its different ideologies, wanting to interact with people just to understand the way they think and creating visuals inspired by my surroundings are all part of who I am.

I am also a woman that always wanted to show her strength, either by playing sports like one of the boys or by having the last word in friendly debates. I am a flourishing individual whose emotions and openmindedness lead the way to new discoveries.

I am a builder, a dreamer, a planner, a joker, a dancer and an adventurer. I never wanted to be just one person, I always wanted to explore and have many lives, never being bored, always trying new things because I feel that is how you discover yourself and the world around you. I always state my opinion so I cannot afford to give it without knowing what I am talking about, and to do so you have to not be afraid of being wrong. I sometimes feel insecure, like any human being, but I find strength in this humanity because people have always fought harder when in doubt, wanting to show that they can prevail even if all odds are against them.

I am Valentine Nouvel, inspired and motivated creative designer, who writes stories for others now but one day will have her own story to tell, a longer than 30second one but with as much emotion and fulfilling message.
