VaL Okafor is a Human Capital Development Expert, Ecosystem Builder in Youth Development, and Program Systems Designer focused on strengthening pathways that help young people develop leadership capacity, entrepreneurial competence, and access to opportunity.

Over the past decade, he has worked across youth development, leadership, entrepreneurship, and social impact initiatives, designing and implementing programs that equip young people with the skills, support systems, and networks needed to thrive in an increasingly dynamic world.

As the Chief Executive Officer of The Val Okafor Company, he leads initiatives that develop emerging leaders and entrepreneurs through capacity-building, mentorship, and enterprise development interventions. He also contributes to the implementation of the SOLAP Enterprise Hub and serves as a mentor on the Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme, supporting entrepreneurs across Africa in building sustainable and growth-oriented ventures.

His work extends to program and grant design, where he contributes to developing frameworks that improve access to opportunities, strengthen development outcomes, and support the effective delivery of youth-focused interventions.

VaL has participated in global platforms such as the World Bank Group Youth Summit and the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, engaging in conversations on leadership, youth development, entrepreneurship, and inclusive growth. His contributions to social impact and youth empowerment have earned him several recognitions, including the Award of Achievement from the 234 Project (USA), recognition among the Top 100 Most Inspiring Africans by Opportunities Hub, the Innovative Young Africans Award from the International Internship University (India), and a Certificate of Recognition from the Tony Elumelu Foundation for his contributions to entrepreneurship mentorship and Africa's entrepreneurial ecosystem.

At the heart of his work is a commitment to strengthening human capital, expanding opportunities for young people, and building systems that enable individuals and communities to achieve sustainable growth and development.
