Valeria Burgarella

Valeria Burgarella is an Italian teacher in secondary school. Her master degree is in molecular biology. After degree and teaching diploma she wents away towards the North of Italy to teach biology, chemistry and natural sciences. In 2005 she decided to teach to students with special needs, then she attended the specific postgraduate school. She's been teaching at ITET Pio La Torre of Palermo since 2009. She's taught for two years at the University of Enna "Didattica speciale: codici del linguaggio logico-matematico" to students attending the course of specializzazion to became support teacher. She's attended a lot of refreshing courses about disability, special needs and ICT. She is also interested in CLIL and she is going to attend a methodological course at university. In 2015 she attended a couse about European Diversity Education at Riga because she thinks diversity is a value and a resource.
