Valeria Sterrantino, born in Taormina in November 1987, is an emergent fashion designer. She stands out in fashion thanks of a very sui generis personality. Student at Euromediterranean Academy of Fashion and Design in Catania, alternates different occupations and jobs in the spare time to maintain her studies. EthereaS bases her design research on the need to detonate her creative flair in all its forms and various expressions, which aim to leave spectators amazed. The dress and the catwalk become the place of theatricality and surprise effect. They have to capture the attention and especially excite curiosity, fascination and magnetism on the audience. In contrast to a visceral need to “leave the mark”, she has the intimate desire to show the essence, the most hidden soul of the things and of concepts that she wants to express through her creations. Graduated in fashion design, presented her creations at some local events in Sicily and at important shows in Milan, in collaboration with hair stylists and providing her creations for the participation at international fame contest. In February 2012 she presented her collection "Avatar" at Couture Fashion Week in London gaining great acclaim.
