Hi my name is Valerie Irene VanOrden and I used to be Norberry; I live near Kalamazoo, Michigan, where I am President and CEO of House Portraits and Calligraphy, a DBA for my art business. I have a passion for Spencerian penmanship and italic calligraphy (brush). I used to be a medical secretary, for over 20 years. I also spent one year overseas as an Administrative Secretary in Haiti, which is in the Carribbean.

I am married to Mr. Fix-it, Paul VanOrden, in SW Michigan. I also drive for an Amish family. I love SW Michigan. My hometown was near Detroit, Lathrup Village, Michigan.

I was raised with 4 brothers and sisters.

I enjoy doing hymns in Spencerian penmanship and drawing house portraits in colored pencil and pastel.

I enjoy the back roads of St. Joe County, Michigan and can often be seen driving around there.
