Valerie Brewer

I am a Journalism student with a minor specialization in Film Studies. Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, I now live in Jackson, TN as I attend my last year at Union University. After I graduate this December, I hope to pursue a career where I can write stories that benefit and impact those around me.

As a communicator and artist, I strive for authentic interactions with those around me. Whether through sharing my story or discussing the current political climate, I yearn for honest conversation preferably over a cup of coffee.

When I'm not writing on scraps of paper, I love cooking (vegan) feasts at home, and watching the latest inside-prison documentary.
