Valérie Drost MSc.

PhD Researcher in Rotterdam and Eindhoven

Valérie Drost holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences (2013), a Master's degree in and Health Psychology (2015) and a Master's degree in Health Sciences (2015), which she obtained at Maastricht University, the Netherlands.

Previously, she gained experience in the academic field with project management, innovation in higher education, and educational quality assurance. During the COVID-19 pandemic she shifted her focus to healthcare and worked as an advisor health quality and patient safety (read: Catharina Hospital), and design researcher and study manager in a med-tech company (read: Philips).

Currently, Drost works as a PhD researcher on a joint project of Erasmus University Medical Center, Rotterdam, Eindhoven University of Technology, and Catharina Hospital Eindhoven. In her research she focuses on several topics within Cardiology, particularly on heart failure and Mechanical Circulatory Support.
