Hi!
My name is Valerie and I am the co-owner of Vertical Addiction and since 2014, I'm also the web developer/ problem solver for our e-commerce website: www.vertical-addiction.com.
At the moment, I'm looking for translation and proofreading work either in English or French.
In April 2016 I did some translation and proofreading work for the Job Resource Centre in Canmore and loved it.
Before working as a web developer, I worked for 9 years at l'École Notre-Dame des Monts in Canmore as a school secretary. My administrative duties were very wide and included proper written communication with parents in both French and English.
I finished the Foundation of Digital Management Course at University of Toronto School of Continuing Education in April 2016.
Finally, I'm also an outdoor enthusiast who loves alpine and backcountry skiing, mountain biking, rock climbing, camping, backpacking and hiking. I also enjoy cooking, baking, gardening, reading and yes, going to the gym!
