Valery SMITH

Dumelang! I am Valery Smith. I am a student living in Johannesburg, South Africa. I am a fan of entrepreneurship, politics, and education.

I am a pre-service educator who majors in Business studies and tourism, and I hope to one day take the education department by storm. I aspire to become a curriculum adviser and one day to sit on the board which does curriculum changes. I believe South Africa needs young people like me to better our current education system. Someone who has passion for the profession, and has the best interest of her students at heart.

I also tutor teaching methodology for tourism and it grounds me and prepares me for the working environment .In our profession time management is key, and I have mastered that.

I enjoy engaging learners in technological assessments, because it is a great platform to learn and to collaborate with peers.It is difficult to engage learners daily but with a persistent attitude, everything is possible. You just need to be determined and to believe that you can get it done.

I am also interested in cooking and photography. I am a benevolent, hard-working, assertive young woman and I do everything to the best of my ability. I believe you should always do the best in everything you do, because there is only one you.
