I'm a music-obsessed baby boomer - who's kept up with new music - yet watched most of my peers lose track of music as life got busy. Since the advent of digital music (e.g. iTunes Music Store 2003) many in my generation have lost track not only of new artists, but also of how to buy, organize and listen to music at home and on their mobile devices. I started a grass-roots effort to help busy adults get back into the music scene (where they used to belong) by creating a boutique music website specifically for this niche audience. I launched Valslist.com in August 2007. Since then, my story and music website have been featured in Oprah's O magazine, on New York public radio WNYC Soundcheck, and I was hired by NYT to write a weekly Music Match piece for their new Booming blog.

In November of 2013, I launched ValslistRadio, a streaming music app specifically created to help busy adults keep up with new music. Offering the unique Valslist.com brand in the form of curated playlists, I hand pick every track. This is music that adults will love and their kids will envy.
