Valia Valcheva

A major part of my employment experience has been in the tourism industry. During my university education, it was mainly a summer job at Golden Sands Resort and later on, I successfully combined working on cruise ships with education and training courses at the University of Economics in Varna. I have acquired valuable experience in working with different cultures, having been responsible for customer relations and communications.

I have a Master degree in International Business and a Bachelor’s degree in International Economics (Management Department, University of Economics, Varna) and a Bachelor’s degree in Organisation and Management of Hotels and Restaurants, College of tourism, Varna as well as a degree in French and English Languages (5 Language School, Varna). I have also attended training in European Integration and Enlargement (University of Economics, Varna). During my education I have attended training courses in Russian, German and Spanish.

In addition to the sphere of office administration, I have extensive experience in the following areas:

• Marketing and promoting of services / my work as a sales manager in Albena JSCo, Head of Marketing department at Sunny day Co and Marketing and Contracting atTural-G Ltd /
• Customer care / working as a barkeeper during a summer job in my happy student's life /
• Office/ internal communication / this is a skill that was improved during my work on cruises /
