Van Williams

Dr. Van Williams has been in the real estate investment and management industry for more than 23 years. With the goal to become a socially responsible investor, and Create an Income Focused Social Impact Fund. He specializes in improving underserved and working-class areas. As a result, Dr. Van has sold, bought, and helped reposition multifamily and other residential assets that amount to more than $30 million in total.

Prior to venturing into investing and managing real estate assets, Dr. Van has completed several notable Degrees & Certifications: an associate degree in Business Management at Ashworth College. Aside from that, he is a Ph.D. in Psychology holder and a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Madison University. He is also a Certified Mediator in good standing with The National Association of Certified Mediators (Premier Organization in the U.S).

Upon completing his Doctoral Degree, Dr. Van decided to launch a Real Estate Income Fund. With this mission in mind, Dr. Van earned His Professional Property Manager and Green Property Advisor from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). In addition, he also became a certified Private Equity Professional (CPEP) with the Investment Certification Institute (Founded by Richard Wilson’s Family Offices).

Right now, he is working as a Social Impact Fund manager and Chief Operations Officer (CEO) of The Proactive Realty Income Fund in South Carolina. In the company, he leads a group of investment management professionals that help investors enjoy healthy returns while promoting Social Impact Investing based on Howard Buffet’s IRR Scoring Model (Impact Rate of Return), foe lower socieo-economic areas.

Dr. Van and his team at Proactive work on acquiring and renovating deteriorating assets and revitalizing local communities that require the development of affordable housing. And by generating reliable cash flow, maximizing returns, and having a positive impact on society, they attract more investors to join their mission as well. We are the Green Hornet of Real Estate Investing, with a Concentration on Social Impact.

Besides Renovating & Stabilizing more affordable housing in their target areas, they also provide both Direct & Induced job opportunities for the people while supporting social programs that benefit those communities. We at Proactive are the change that we would like to see.
