VANDA_project was founded in 2013 by Artist/Researcher Victoria Coster.

ABSC_NDwas the first collaborative initiative taking the form of an independent publishing platform. Six digital magazines were published on ISSUU.com each showcasing the diverse practices of national and international artists, writers, makers and creators, all with cross disciplinary practices.

THEME became the backbone of ABSC_ND, call-outs for contributors invited the de_constructing, re_inventing and challenging of the theme, with a Theme-Bank that invited suggestions for future publications.

Coster’s interest in the Dadaists avant-garde publication291 was an influencing factor in the development of ABSC_ND. With the digital curation, design and layout of the content of the magazine becoming integrated into a personal practice that could not exist without the publications collaborators.

Coster completed a Fine Art Research Masters in 2018 and is currently developing personal projects to watch out for.
