Lisbon - Portugal

I'm currently finishing my Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, with a specialization in Biomechanics. In February 2013, I started a project on my own, based on some ideas I used to take note on a small notebook I take everywhere with me. SymMotion is now an inovative startup company with the main objective to develop a system which uses motion performance measurements along with biomechanical models, to enhance the ability to predict occupational hazards in manual tasks, to improve performance in sports, or to assist physical rehabilitation, among others. Before studying Biomedical Engineering, I attended the Naval School where I studied Naval Military Sciences - Navy for 3 years and after that I also attended 3 years of Nursing. Despite the time taken to pursuit my dream, I know that I wouldn't be the professional I am today, with all the knowledge and experience in various subjects, without this vast background.
