Thijs Van den Brande

Thijs Van den Brande is finalising his PhD on Wind and Rain flows in an urban environment at the Building Physics section of the Department of Civil Engineering (KU Leuven, Belgium).
During the past years he was active as the vice-chairman of LOKO, the KU Leuven Student Body Council, as a boardmember of the KU Leuven, as a policitian for the local social council of Leuven and as co-founder of Startup Weekend Leuven.
Recently moved to Antwerp and with the prospect of a PhD in Engineering Thijs is searching for ways to implement his knowledge in his dream about sustainable cities and societies.
