Vanesha Manuturi

Seattle, WA

Always living in wander, Vanesha Manuturi is a storyteller at heart. Throughout the years, she has sharpened her skills in storytelling across various fields from writing to marketing & community outreach campaign. She believes that the core of every communication tool is a story, and she implements that core in every project.

After graduating from Seattle Pacific University in 2012, she worked as an intern at Morris Visitor Publication where she dabbled in travel/hospitality journalism. She continues her journey in storytelling with an internship at Crosscut News. During this time, she also worked with the Microsoft Alumni Foundation in reporting stories to inspire and encourage the spirit of activism and volunteerism across the Microsoft Alumni network.

2013 is her fourth year with Kollaboration Seattle, a nonprofit organization working to raise the awareness of API talents in the mainstream media. For the past two years, she has worked in the Community Outreach department as the Community Outreach Manager, maintaining community partnerships and coordinating volunteers.

She hopes to take her storytelling skills for advocacy work in the future, particularly in the issue of education and community development.
