Living her best life in NYC

If you’re reading this, congratulations: I think you’re cute! 😊

A little about me… I'm 38, originally from Singapore, and I've lived in NYC for 10 years. I'd describe myself as a balanced combination of warm and self-possessed, which means I’m affectionate, thoughtful, and kind, but also perfectly capable of handling my own life, opening my own jars, and walking away from things that don’t feel aligned.

I’m deeply curious, fiercely independent, and difficult to reduce to a neat little dating-app prompt. Hence… this entire page. 💁🏻‍♀️

I have standards, substance, and a life I genuinely love. I’m not looking for someone to complete me, rescue me, or become the sole source of meaning and entertainment in my life. What I'd love is for someone whose presence makes an already-full life feel even more expansive.

In the right dynamic, I’m playful, generous, and deeply caring, with a natural ease in how I connect. However, I don’t perform for attention and I’m not particularly interested in forcing chemistry, carrying conversations, or pretending that “How was your weekend?” is a personality.

I choose people from a place of wholeness. To me, a great relationship is two people intentionally co-creating a life that feels beautiful, spacious, emotionally honest, intellectually engaging, and fun, while still remaining fully themselves.

Outside of work, I travel frequently and love discovering new cities as much as I love returning to familiar ones to visit people I care about. I design (and occasionally make) jewelry, play a lot of board games, enjoy excellent food, and am currently learning my sixth language, with varying levels of success and humility. I also love live concerts and music festivals, 🎶 🪩 so you'll probably find me dancing through summer! 💃🏻

I’m spiritual, but I don’t subscribe to organized religion. I’m interested in psychology, human behavior, and the “invisible forces” shaping our lives… but I can also spend an unreasonable amount of time discussing restaurants, travel itineraries, or why someone made a terrible strategic decision during a board game.

To stay active, I do pilates, go on hikes, play pickleball, and have recently become interested in bouldering and rock climbing. I used to paddleboard and kayak along the Hudson every weekend, but then I started questioning my life choices after two whole summers of it.

If any of this resonates with you, fill out the form below and tell me a little about yourself. Thoughtful answers are encouraged. Personality is strongly preferred. 😉
