Vanessa Shoman-Duell

Vanessa Duell is a New York-based event planner. Her company, Vanessa Shoman Events, specializes in high-class occasions. Vanessa Duell plans elegant weddings and parties for individuals, as well as events for nonprofit organizations.

A lifelong traveler, she began exploring the world at the age of 3. She has visited Spain, France, Italy, and countries across Central and South America. She speaks Spanish fluently and continues to improve her Italian and French. She is also learning to play the piano, a testament to her love of classical music and the arts.

Outside of work, Vanessa Duell also enjoys spending time with her Yorkshire terrier, Daisy, and can often be found walking her around Central Park. Devoted to protecting animals, she often donates to the ASPCA. In 2015, she helped the organization throw its annual Bergh Ball by volunteering on the special events team. The event drew celebrities, politicians, and generous philanthropists who donated just shy of $1.4 million to the ASPCA.
