Vanessa E. Romo

Vanessa E. Romo is a Southern California native and brings over 15 years of entertainment and finance experience including Music, Production and Writing.

Vanessa is currently Co-Writer and Producer on feature films “Son of the 7th”, "Coming Undone" and "Devil's PR" as well as Producer & Host for "Undiscovered Live", a talent competition show endorsed by Grammy Award winning R&B artist, Brian McKnight and Grammy Award Winner, Claude McKnight of vocal group Take 6. She has 15 years formal music training in Classical Violin but also Piano, Viola, Drums and Voice. She holds a Degree in Digital Music Production and Multi-Media and has also studied Theatre Arts/Acting. She was always determined and had a mission to be successful in the Entertainment world. Her studies included AP and GATE classes since the age of 6.

Vanessa was born and raised in Santa Ana, California. Her mother was a former Mariachi singer turned National Shaklee salesperson and her father was a Retired Marine Staff Sergeant who worked at a Spanish radio station and became a Behavioral Counselor/Therapist. She's had a record player and piano at her fingertips since the age 3. From performing as a 1st chair member of local youth symphonies, she also delved in the world of underground dance music. She has collaborated with vocals and music production with reknowned underground artist, Weapon X of Urban Mafia, who she was a member from 1993-1999 - during the early days of rave music. Although many have mistaken her for working at Groove 103.1 Radio Station, she happily volunteered and participated at many of their events & shows including the 1st hosted Dance Off of Long Beach's Queen Mary with Christian B. Her music is an influence of sensual vocals, jazz, dub lounge, R&B and dance music. She loves dub and deep house, drum 'n bass, dark music as well as early funk/late disco music.

She's served as a mentor and Former Chair Member of Musicians Alliance College Program in 1999 for Santa Ana College and has worked on various independent music and script projects for L.A. Indie-based film-makers throughout the years. Professionally, she's liasioned with high-profile clientele, high caliber PR and attorneys (i.e. Michael Jackson Estate) in '07-'08 and has over 15 years successful C-Level Marketing and Sales support experience at Fortune 100 Companies.

She is currently lives in Orange County where she continues to work on music projects, writing and composition arrangements in film.
