Vanessa Gillespie is a Denver, CO native, who has relocated to Dallas, TX to further her education in becoming a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. Her determination and remarkable leadership skills is her platform that successfully drives her in making a difference not only in her community but the world. Showing leadership on her campus, Vanessa is a mentor and advocate for SHAPE (Student Health Advocates and Peer Educators) an organization that raise awareness among college students about infant mortality and its causes. Giving back to the community, every year Vanessa volunteers at Texas Earth Day and participates in numerus community service events.
