I’m a sober, contemplative Christian living in San Diego, working at the intersection of spirituality, creativity, and social change.

My work is rooted in the belief that attention is sacred, sobriety is more than abstinence, and imagination is a moral force. I write, teach, and create spaces—both public and private—where people can slow down, tell the truth, and recover their capacity to live with integrity in a fragmented world.

I’m not interested in performative spirituality or self-optimization disguised as faith. I’m interested in practices that actually change how we live: prayer that shapes the nervous system, sobriety that restores clarity, and creativity that resists despair.
