Vanessa M. Miller
Trainer, Facilitator, and Seed Planter in New York
Thoughtful, Purposeful, Present
I am a seed planter. A dynamic, passionate, fully engaged trainer who creates and delivers training (seed) into the minds and hearts of the participants (foundation/soil) with the expectation and confidence they will leave the training event with newly acquired knowledge they can use and apply (produce fruit).
A seed planter.
My purpose is to provide and create training that invokes, thought, reflection, participation, and encouragement. To allow my participants to graciously move through the discomfort, to view ourselves and others through an equitable lens. This purpose of mine spans 20 years in the Training and Development field. My expertise lies in conceptualizing, designing, delivering training events and providing guidance and support to trainers new to the field.
My experience has allowed me the opportunity to collaborate and partner with many prestigious organizations to create and deliver training that speaks to change.
My training offerings are Implicit Bias, Motivational Interviewing, Anti-Racism, Sexual Harassment, Diversity and Inclusion, Business Communications, Job Readiness, and Train the Trainer.
My expertise includes implementing new program initiatives. I create positive working alliances. I have a well-rounded background in supporting progressive organizations in optimizing performance as well as managing professional development and growth.
For me, training comes from the heart, not the mouth.
