Vanessa Moss

Sydney New South Wales Australia

I currently investigate our home galaxy, the Milky Way, and its surrounding environment to help discover our galaxy's cannabalistic and explosive history as traced by its number one natural resource: neutral hydrogen. My language of choice is Python: creating new ways to explore and visualise data of all kinds is one of my favourite things to do! I'm also passionate about science communication to various audiences, and regularly tour visitors through Sydney Observatory. Come say hi! I frequently chase orange bouncing spheres across a 28m x 15m wooden surface. In my spare time, I'm a treasure hunter*. * In training.
